Exhibit Building Special Entries

All Entries must represent the Union County West End Fair and/or its 100th Anniversary. All Entries Must have been made or grown by the exhibitor. The Union County West End Fair started as a homecoming picnic featuring a Corn Festival.

Premiums:   1st - $5.00     2nd - $4.00     3rd - $3.00

Department 11 Youth Under 19 

  • Any entry representing the Union County West End Fair and/or its 100th Anniversary.

Department 13 - Vegetables and Herbs

  • A Market Basket with at least 5 different vegetables and 3 of each vegetable, featuring corn creatively displayed. Accessories are permitted.
  • Creative Herbal Display. Accessories are permitted.

Department 15 Home Produced Products

  • Shoo Fly Pie
  • Decorated Cake, Cupcakes, or Cookies

Department 17 Floral Exhibits

  • Flower Arrangement. Accessories are permitted.

Department 18 Needlework

  • Quilted Item
  • Any needlecraft item: Pillow, Picture, Wall Hanging

Department 19 Arts and Crafts

  • Photos - may be photo-shopped
  • Painting or Drawing
  • Any other creative craft

Department 24 Antiques

  • Will feature Union County West End Fair Items                                         West End Fair Book, West End Fair Advertising Poster, Dairy or Beef Exhibitor Hat, Grand or Reserve Rosette, Miss Union County Sash, Clothing, Tri-Fold Brochure, Black & White Photo identified as Union County West End Fair, Tractor Pull Trophy.

House, Business, Onsite Camper Decorating Contest

Theme: 100th Anniversary Corn Festival

  • The contest is open to anyone who would like to participate
  • First, second, and third place prizes will be presented Saturday, August 9, at 5:00 pm during our 100th Anniversary celebration party.
  • Please have your house, business, or camper decorated by August 2 and keep it decorated during fair week.
  • Contact Judy at [email protected] to register your house, business, or camper.
  • Registrations must be in by July 19. We will need your name and location to judge your display sometime during fair week.

Admission Fee is donated to a child based nonprofit organization.
