  1. Major exhibits by agriculture or similar organizations should contribute to a better understanding of agriculture or agribusiness either through their educational value or their promotion of their products.<\/li>\n
  2. A sale of items, in itself, shall not be considered a part of any exhibit.<\/li>\n
  3. The fair reserves the right to reject an exhibit not in good taste or not of merit in promoting agriculture or agribusiness.<\/li>\n
  4. Size of exhibits not to exceed 8 feet wide by 4 feet deep.<\/li>\n
  5. RESERVATIONS FOR SPACE SHOULD BE MADE PRIOR TO OPENING OF THE FAIR. If no reservation has been made and space is available, entries may be made on a first come basis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Scoring System\u00a0\u2014 100 Points Total<\/h3>\n

    20\u00a0\u2014 ATTRACTS ATTENTION: Use of color, motion, light, figures. While attention getting is important, the reaction should be favorable. Unfavorable attention defeats its purpose.<\/p>\n

    10\u00a0\u2014\u00a0AROUSES INTEREST: Encourages additional study. Personal appeal to the type of viewer for whom the exhibit was designed.<\/p>\n

    30 \u2014 CONVEYS MESSAGE: The message should be understood by the viewer for whom the exhibit was intended.<\/p>\n

    20 \u2014 DESIGN: Elements of the exhibit should be pleasingly placed to give a sense of unity to the whole. The message should be a part of the design and not something apparently added as an afterthought. Simplicity is the key here.<\/p>\n

    10 \u2014 WORKMANSHIP: Neat, well constructed; does not imply that expensive materials be used.<\/p>\n
